Leish Pulford Practice Manager

Leish is the driving force behind the smooth day-to-day running of Independent Milestones. From coordinating schedules to managing the many moving parts of logistics, Leish ensures everything behind the scenes operates seamlessly. With a strong focus on organisation, efficiency, and attention to detail, she plays a key role in keeping our services running reliably and supporting both staff and participants to have the best possible experience.

Julia Kelly Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Owner)

Julia Kelly is a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist who focuses on supporting neurodivergent children and their families to build confidence and independence in everyday life.

As both a mother and therapist, she combines expertise with lived experience. Julia is passionate about helping families manage everyday challenges from teeth brushing, sleep routines, to emotional regulation, through practical, compassionate, and individualised support.

Peter Caine Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Telehealth)

 Peter Caine is our Paediatric Telehealth Occupational Therapist providing flexible support including ongoing therapy, parent sessions, one-off (including functional capacity assessments and sensory profiles). He provides empathetic, evidence-based practice and works closely with families and key stakeholders to support meaningful, everyday participation. Peter brings experience across community, clinic, school, and mental health programs. He uses a, collaborative approach to therapy delivered in real-world contexts.

Ellie Mulligan Paediatric Occupational Therapist

 

Ellie is a registered Occupational Therapist who is interested in supporting children and young adults to grow through play and targeted interventions. Ellie has experience working in mental health and with neurodivergent young people, and takes a holistic, strength-based approach to support their physical and emotional well-being, 

and build upon skills to increase their confidence and independence. Ellie works to make therapy engaging, functional, and tailored to each young person's needs. Outside of work, Ellie enjoys having a coffee with friends, cooking, and spending time in the outdoors and in nature - in the bush, garden, or at the beach.
